Got scared as I was unemployed and depressed between 19-23. Then I luckily pulled out of it with the help of my GF I had been together with since I was 18. I got an education in developing packaging for the packaging industry. My GF became a welder and union representative. So now we both got a home we like and we are saving money for a wedding next year. And I am turning 26. All my friends were sucessful before they were 23 so I panicked. So take your time and care for yourself. Do what you enjoy and dont stress about finding the right partner, job or education. I got lucky when i was 18 after many breakups. Appriciate the small things like being able to afford a dinner you like once and a while. A good drink or a classic movie you pirated.

I just turned 22, completed my graduation 2 years back from top college of my country and have been working to gain experience before my post-grad. I work from 7 am - 11 pm, yet still get anxiety and panicked Wondering where I'm going in my life because I want to achieve soooooo much and still be young enough to enjoy the fruits of my labour. So yeah, I totally get it. Hopefully things will turn out the best soon, because this pressure is too much for me sometimes and I'm physically not keeping well because of this, only thing pulling me forward is that a few years struggle now will make my rest of the life comfortable. Social pressure affects youth bellow the age of around 26-27, where the body is still developing, experiences shape a person into a grown adult. Keep at it and stride forward, as generic as it sounds; it's normal. @furquanelahi's post as reference. Keep in mind, however, being idle and lazy is obviously not going to lend favorable results. I know first hand the effect of one's mentality on happiness and success in life as I've battled obesity and beaten it.
